In collaboration with Mary Millner, Etienne has been commissioned by Berkeley Group to make a life-size and a half statue and relief of the 19th century scientist Ada Lovelace, to be sited in Westminster at Ergon House, Horseferry Road.
Ada Lovelace, the daughter of Lord Bryon, is credited with anticipating the first computer programme in her notes on the Benoulli numbers when working with Charles Babbage.
The reliefs contain two hidden puzzles in the dots which school children from local schools will be invited to unravel on Ada Lovelace Day October 13th 2021.
